You should be able to do this modeling in energyplus (depending on what you are trying to understand
). The airgap should not have zero thermal resistance though as:

Cavities in wall constructions normally have a resistance of  0.18 m2K/W

If the cavity is ventilated then the air gap resistance will be closer to 0.13 m2K/W

You can also set the convection coefficients for the inner and outer surfaces if your research is able to determine those.
