Hello all,
I'm new in the group so this is my first post. I'm more active on the openstudio website but need some advises on a E+ specific topic today which i did not find in the reference guide
I live in the tropics (réunion island) and commonly design building with cross natural ventilation.
Knowing that we never process CFD simulation to get pressure coefficient on facades, in order to simulate ventilation we process different thermal simulations with different Airchange/hr rate (using ZoneDesignFlowRate object in E+. (ie not well ventilated = not windy day - 5vol/h, well ventilated= windy day - 30vol/h). I then plot temperature en HR on a givoni diagram and get a range of confort from well ventilated to bad ventilated days. This give significant results from now but i would to know if you could advise me an other enhanced method to simulate natural ventilation in a building and get more accuracy in results. (ie airflow network, airflow windows, windows opening?...). What are the pro and cons of these other methods.
Thanks a lot for helping me on this topic!
Regards,
Max
