Look at the solar collector example in the example file folder. (SolarCollectorFlatPlateWater.idf)
The example shows you how to connect the solar collector to a tank. An electric heater is to heat the water, when there is not sun. The heater is in a tank (instantaneous). If you use one of the DHW branch as a heating coil branch for a third tank, this tank will be heated to a temperature lower than the main tank. Use this tank to feed the radiant panel. Hello
OK I understand your point, but how can we use two tanks and one group of solar colectores how could the controlstratagy be set up? Thank´s for the answer. The prioraty is for DHW and then ude the excess energy for the radiant floor heating (45.C max). > > > > Has anyone done this? > > > > Thanks > > > > MN > __._,_.___ Primary EnergyPlus support is found at: http://energyplus.helpserve.com or send a message to energyplus-support@xxxxxxxx The primary EnergyPlus web site is found at: http://www.energyplus.gov The group web site is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EnergyPlus_Support/ Attachments are currently allowed but be mindful that not everyone has a high speed connection.
