RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Using EMS to modify heat pump coefficients

No, sorry, it is not possible at present.  Specific new EMS actuators would need to be added to that model’s program code to enable such overrides.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Using EMS to modify heat pump coefficients

Hi,

I know EMS can be used to modify performance curves. But with the equation fit water to water heat pump (heatpump:watertowater:equationfit), the coefficients are entered within the description of the component itself.

Is it possible to alter the calculation of the power consumption, capacity or exiting temperatures using EMS?

Thanks

Aidan
