You can upgrade your file into higher version by Auxiliary program comes with Eplus. Check Auxiliary Program Help file section "Using Older Version Input Files - Transition" at page number 118.

P.s If you are using Design Builder V3 you can directly get Energy Plus Version 7 IDF file. Check this

With DesignBuilder I created a .idf file version 6.0.0.023. I want to develop it in EnergyPlus (mainly to model pv and solar thermal). Online I found the version 7.0.0.036 of EnergyPlus.

Actually, I got also other errors (because of AdaptiveConvectionAlgorithm and probably because I didn't complete the model of the plants). However, I wonder whether downloading the version 6.0.0.023 of EnergyPlus is possible, please. I think it would be the best solution, wouldn't it?
