Luke, I worked on a problem a few years back. The building I worked on had an air handler to precondition outside air, and feed it to one multi-zone and one single-duct VAV air handler. I modelled the setup as a regular AHU with pre-heating and pre-cooling coils. If you think that could be useful, I could dig up the input file for you.
