There are two "built-in" methods in
EnergyPlus:
Read about:
Parametric Preprocessor
and
Macro program

in the Auxiliary Programs document.

I believe there are also some third party tools (such as jEPlus)
described on the EnergyPlus website:

www.energyplus.gov
