I should know this? but I don?t.
· I have defined a simple boiler plant loop as shown below
· Boiler 1 is defined to operate first, then both Boilers, based on their load capacity
· From the CSV report variables, the boilers appear to be operating as I intend:
o Boiler 1 is operating (indicated by raising the temp of incoming water)
o Boiler 2 is NOT operating (indicated by temp of incoming water remaining unchanged)
· BOTH boiler branches have flow, but I want flow only when the boiler is active
· For the Boiler Branches, I defined:
o the Pumps as ?passive? and boilers as ?active? for both branches (both branches have flow)
o And then switched pumps to ?active?, boilers to ?passive? (same results)
o And then reviewed the IO Reference and found that they?re not supposed to affect the simulation at all.
How can I stop flow when the boiler is inactive?
Thanks in advance!
Making me think?.
