Any equipment has latent and radiant energy that is given off as internal heat gain. If it also has south west or east solar could play into it as well. If the building model is well insulated and has low or no infiltration it may get its heat the space may gain its heat elsewhere, dependent upon your setpoints. 

I think this is what the others refereed to, but does not really answer your question... 

If you send your file I will check it out and send it back, but my guess is that it has something to do with your thermostat type...

I am looking at the Annual Building Utility Performance Summary, in the END USES Table, there is an amount of electricity used for heating. It has nothing to do with hot water demand because for that there is a natural gas boiler.

Where can I modify the setting of the crankcase heater?
