Is not this the same as the solar collector example? "hot refrigerant gas" is the solar collector, boiler is the electric heater heating the instantanous tank. City water in, DHW out to the showers, etc. There is a tempering tap for the city water and the tank DHW as well in the example. Thanks in advance. p.s., One of the configurations I tried placed a WaterHeater:Mixed in a branch of the boiler demand loop. E+ doesn?t think that is acceptable, so it crashed.
