Yes, a low resistance surface should work well. If it was a typical building construction assembly, with resistance and mass, then the other side coefficients could be adjusted to get the desired inside face temperatures. I thought of modeling the construction as a massless, very low resistance surface (0.001 m2K/W= Minimum allowable material resistance in EnergyPlus) and assigning the interior temperatures I have as the outside temperatures of this massless, very low resistance construction.
