[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Hot water air heaters



The temperature of the air exiting from the coil can be calculated considering that
Q = m_air * c_air * (T_air,out - T_air)
The air temperature T_air,out obtained from the previous equation has to be equal to the temperature of the air exiting from the coil calculated by equation of p. 563 of Engineering Reference
T_air,out = T_air,in + eps * C_min * (T_w,in - T_air,in) / C_air
Therefore I can calculate eps, from which I can calculate NTU and, later, UA.
