RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Is it possible to keep solar effect when using the new "Surface BC" actuator?

No, sorry that is not possible.  Those actuators were made available only for OtherSideConditionsModel and there is no solar flux term available with that boundary condition.

I notice that the new "surface Boundary Conditions" actuators are available for controlling the convection and radiation for surfaces. However, is it possible to keep solar effect when using these new actuators (or as a option)? This could be useful for some situations, such as if the outer layer of Multi-skin component is glass or if I want to use the air temperature and radiation temperature simulated by a urban micro-climate model as the BC of surfaces but let EnergyPlus itself calculate the solar flux.
