Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] PCM tank for hot storage

I suggest that you try looking at the WaterHeater:Mixed and/or WaterHeater:Stratified objects as they have tank volume and you can modify the heat losses to account for the PCM

Hope this helps.

I've been trying to model a PCM tank for heat storage. I thought it should be possible with new charge/discharge curves in the thermalstorage:ice:detailed module.

I'm finding that I can't get this to work, so though I would check if this is even possible with this module?

Is there of modifying this module slightly to operate as a heat store?

Thanks for your help
