Hi,
I am writing a general purpose code which can read in the .epw file and output some files according to my needs . I am planing to use this data for a project I am working on .
I already have the code for a standard format file which has values for one year (8760 rows). I wanted to know how exactly does the values in the 8th row of epw files relate to the number of data points.
A typical 8th Row is
DATA PERIODS,1,1,Data,Sunday, 1/ 1,12/31
which according to manual is
data periods, number of data periods, number of intervals per hour,DP name/description , start day of week ,start day/month , end day/month
I had few queries
1) What is " data periods "?
2)Are the values in this row used to build the data records .
Looking forward for the reply.
