Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] DOE commercial reference building file open error in EPlus 7.1



The files are in an older version of E+, you will have to update using the version update utility included with e+.. The only issue is if you want to update the entire collection- this can be done but you need a text file with full file paths for all of the files, and this would take a while- it would be nice if you could just point the version update utility at a file directory and then it would just update the whole lot- Anyhow you could also just open in Ep launch and choose the version update option -- so >file>transition version-- then you will have a new version and an old version of the same file.

This error may be caused by a missing semi-colon at the end of an object. ..."

I thought the reference buildings were supposed to be error-free!
Or I may be experiencing some serious operator error.

Please let me know if you are familiar with this error. Thank you!
