[EnergyPlus_Support] Complex external screen and shading coefficient schedule

Hi,

I am trying to compare two cases in terms of energy consumption:

1. 100%WWR with no shading device
2. 100%WWR with a complex screen modelled in Rhino

In order to simplify the simulation process, I have run Climate-Based daylight analysis is DIVA for Rhino, which later allowed me to calculate the hourly illuminance ratio with/without shading in order to modify the glazing in 2nd case. Since it is a schedule(hourly ratio), I do not know how to set it up as a SHGC or Solar Transmittance schedule?

Do you think this approach is possible? Basically, I would not model a new shade/blind in IDF, but would modify the SHGC or Solar transmittance of the glass in the 2nd case.

If there is any alternative way to achieve this, I would be glad to hear! Just to point it out, the screen is complex and it is impossible to model it E+ by defining the vertices' coordinates.

Thank you all for help!

Regards,

Danijel
