Dear Veronika, I am using Window-XP and I had no problem in installation as well in operation. I would suggest you to take help from IT person for installing Open Studio. Or You may send me your file I can send you the graphs in the format as you required. --- On Mon, 27/8/12, Veronika Shabunko <veronikashabunko@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: From: Veronika Shabunko <veronikashabunko@xxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Dview, results To: "EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" <EnergyPlus_Support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Date: Monday, 27 August, 2012, 11:32 AM
Dear RAMKISHORE SINGH,
Thanks for your comment. I would like to use Resultviewer from Open Studio and yes this is one of the option to see results in graphics , but somehow in my computers it doesn't install the way I saw in youtube.com in training videos. There are no resultviewer, no manager and no options for air wall. I
installed it several times to Mac and Window 7 and same in both.
As OpenStudio installed with GoogleschetchUp, maybe I dont understand how to deal with it. Any suggestions?

Dear Veronika, Dview plots hourly/monthly variation of data i.e. x axis always indicates time (hourly or monthly) and y axis shows the variation of parameter that you want to plot with respect to x-axis, however, in your case you are trying to plot illuminance level at different points on the working floor and these points are identified by values of x and y axes from the origin and you have to take values of illuminance at secondary y axis. I think for this purpose Dview is not suitable plotter. I always use Resultsviewer of Open studio for plotting illuminance map, which correctly reads the map.csv from Eplus.

Hi everyone,
I am doing simulation of house in tropics. In this simulations I added lights, AC unit for 5 zone, daylighting, illuminance and materials/constructions and building by itself. The results in tables looks ok. But when I use Dview for result viewing, the graphs that I see after adding MAP. EXE file to Dview make no sense, very strange graphs as you can see in attached file.
Please can
anyone assist me with this matter. Where I've got wrong? Is there any other way to see graphical results of the simulation?
Looking forward to hear some advices.
Thanks,
Best regards, Veronika
