E+ uses “efficiency “ in a way that is somewhat confusing:
“Motor Efficiency” = motor efficiency (e.g. .92)
“Fan Efficiency” = Fan mechanical efficiency * motor efficiency (e.g., .50 * .92 = .46)

This discussion was very useful, but now I have a new question. ASHRAE 90.1-2007 provides a method to calculate the "Fan motor Efficiency". As I'm modelling a VAV system with reheat, I'm using the object Fan:VariableVolume
