[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Sizing according to ASHRAE 90.1

This discussion was very useful, but now I have a two questions regarding fans.

1. ASHRAE 90.1-2007 provides a method to calculate the "Fan motor Efficiency". As I'm modelling a VAV system with reheat, I'm using the object Fan:VariableVolume that has two fields relative to efficiency: "Fan efficiency" and "Motor efficiency".
Is the "Fan motor Efficiency" of ASHRAE equal to "Motor efficiency" of
EnergyPlus? And about the "Fan efficiency" of EnergyPlus?
Or is the "Fan motor Efficiency" of ASHRAE equal to product of "Motor
efficiency" of EnergyPlus and "Fan efficiency" of EnergyPlus?

2. Is calculating the field "pressure rise" as Power*efficiency/massflow
at the design conditions a good solution?

Best Regards
