Yes, Linda. DB does that but I need .idf files too. Actually, I have been doing what you just described for months (exporting .idf files from DB and convert them to V7.1 using Energy + conversion feature). Recently, however, the DB is not even allowing me to export those .idf files and gives me a compatibility error. To export the idf files, DB is asking for an Energy Plus folder that contains E+ V 7.00036 but the one I have is V7.1. That is where the problem comes from.
