As Linda said, the TMY are text files that you can open and view in a text editor.
 
Attached is the documentation for the TMY format.  It is a fixed column width format.

Actually, the software we coded is very simple one that can calculate and rate energy performance of simple dwellings. Since our software is not capable to read EPW or TMY file extension, we decided to integrate the weather data,which is embed in DRYCOLD.TMY, such as solar radiation and ground temperatures, into our software. Unfortunately I haven^t found the way to see what is written in the weather file.

Can you help me about this issue?
