[EnergyPlus_Support] Energy Plus readable file

Hi,all,
We can use IDF-Editor to edit the IDF file and make the settings in the IDF-Editor. Is there other format file that can be read directly by Energy Plus, for example, I use Revit to get a 3D model, and then I get a gbxml file, then transform it into an IDF file through Openstudio software. Are there other more direct ways available?  Since it seems there are some information about thermal properties lost during the transformation.
