That is not possible-
 jE+ changes values in IDF files of version and uses RVI to pull output. There is no actual concern for versions for jE+ or for jE+.net.. For instance I have been useing beta versions of E+ on older versions of jE+ for a couple versions back.
The main difference in jE+ and jE+.net is that jE+.net requires relative file paths, where jE+ can use either relative or absolute paths.
I suggest you contact Yi or Ivan with jE+ to clear up your confusion  and update your version of E+ and your IDF files to run the newest version as V6 is now quite old and buggy.
