RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] HVACtemplate:system:unitary or HVACtemplate:system:unitaryheatpump:airtoair

Why don't you run the examples in the ExampleFiles folder and find out.

Split unit has a fan coil unit in the zone.  (usually cooling only.)

Roof top unit can be an air- to-air, heat pump or split.

Heat pump is not efficient as a heater in Winter at low temperature.  It is mainly used for cooling.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] HVACtemplate:system:unitary or HVACtemplate:system:unitaryheatpump:airtoair

Hello,

I'm trying to model a split and a rooftop system but I don't know if I have to use a HVACtemplate:system:unitary or HVACtemplate:system:unitaryheatpump:airtoair.
Could anyone tell me what is the difference between the two templates?

Thanks
