Thanks for your
answer,
As a matter of fact Iâ??ve
noticed that all solution algorithms used by default are listed on the eio file
as you mentioned.

As noted in the IDD, the thirdorderbackwarddifference is
used if you leave a blank in that field.
That is also the default if you have no ZoneAirHeatBalanceAlgorithm
object in your file.
Confirmation of which is used is shown in the .eio file whether an object
is included or not. See Output Details document for
explanation.

Hi there,
I was wondering what sort of algorithm is used
for calculating the zone heat balance. I¢ve noticed that it¢s an optional
input but I am not sure what solution is been used in the solution
manager when the field it is basically blank. In the input-output
reference I found that ¡¢if the default algorithm is used the object is
not required¢¢. I¢m not currently using any input in that particular
field but I wanted to know which one is the default algorithm. Is the
thirdOrderBackwardDifference used as default when the field is
blank or a completely different algorithm?<?xml:namespace prefix = o
