Hi,
Firstly, is the interior of your house conditioned or not. If not, no need to use the Ground Heat transfer slab or basement preprocessors, which are utilities to be used when the indoors are conditioned to a certain temperature, most of the time, especially applicable to commercial buildings.
If the indoors are conditioned, then EneryPlus documentation suggests to use 2C difference across the slab or basement walls. i suppose when the indoors is conditioned all the time, this 2C difference across the building envelope with a fairly stable ground temperature is reasonable.
