can't you just turn off some rtu componants when the xfans jump on...both are happening with schedules. so the your rtu "morphs" into exhaust plus oda supply....there are even options to load other fan curves for set times. I think it is doable all with one system that acts like 2.

I am trying to model a real building that has RTUs (which I am modeling using a traditional air loop) and exhaust fans (which I am modeling using zone equipment). The RTUs do not operate when the exhaust fans are operating. When the exhaust fans operate, relief dampers open to provide make-up air in the building. Is there any way to model this in energyplus?
