[EnergyPlus_Support] start_up

Hi I am simulating a system that will run only for a few months.  I am beginning the runtime a week before I need the energy results to be begin being calculated.  This is to account for start_up time.  Can someone tell me what they may do to start the system earlier and still get results that they need?
