[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: SimulationControl

These objects are the parameters under which the capacities of your HVAC components are determined. 

In essence, you are setting the conditions under which your zones, systems, and plants operate so the computer can then calculate the capacities of components such as coils, fans, boilers, etc. 

These are the inputs that go into the background calculations that fill in the fields that you have designated "autosize."
