Zoning is discussed in the Getting Started document.  I
don't know if sketchup has an easy way to do this or not -- i.e., lump
all the rooms into a single zone and treat the interior partitions as
internal mass.  

Ordinarily, you would zone the house according to thermostats. 
There are several example files with "house" in the title that
may help you as well.
