First off, walls are not usually flat.

That may be a clue.

If it is a floor/ceiling, EnergyPlus applies different rules.

I'm not sure how EnergyPlus handles the "azimuth" for horizontal
surfaces like these, so I don't know if I need to worry about this
warning. In either case I'd like to know how to fix it, though.
