If you find it difficult to couple GenOpt with E+ you might want to try jEPlus+EA (http://www.iesd.dmu.ac.uk/~jeplus/wiki/doku.php?id=docs:jeplus_ea)

Hi all,

I am trying to figure out how can genopt 3.1 be coupled to energyplus 7.2. I suppose cfg file should be modified, but i am not sure how and if should it be done. I am not a programmer, so any reply will help.
