All,
I've come across a bit of an issue with regards to determining the energy costs associated with end uses.
I have four models with varying hvac systems where the internal loads remain the same. The interior equipment and interior lights end use values are identical cross all runs. However, when I take the total electrical cost, and proportionally assign it to the electrical consumption, the numbers don't line up. For example, a identical interior lighting consumption 2,714,418 kbtu gives energy costs of $51,800 and $58,800 between two runs. I think this has to do with the way the tariffs are set up variable costing of when the consumption happens.
Is there a way for energy plus to break down annual energy costs by end use like it does for consumption at the beginning of the tab file?
Thanks,
Luke
