I wonder if there is any significant difference between a 4 pipe fan coil (with essentially zero fan power) and an active chilled beam. As far as I can tell, E+ normally assumes uniform zone mixing and applies the cooling or heating energy to whatever loads exist in the zone. That makes either system perform the same with possible exception of part load performance. That is certainly different for a chilled beam and a fan coil, but I don’t know how much different.
