1) find out more about using "templates" in the IDF which are expanded at run time into an .expidf . Templates make node connections for you, but you will require the correct combination.

2) A heating setpoint is referring to the zone thermostat below which temperature heating will turn on (eg. 20 deg C). This is not the coil air exit temp (eg. 40 deg C). Ditto for cooling.

Conventionally in eQuest I gave value for cooling coil as 50F and for heating 95F but if I give same value in E+ it says a warning "heating coil temp is more than cooling coil temp" and shows absurd results.
