IWEC2 weather files are created from the actual weather reports of
thousands of stations around the world. For example, the two IWEC2
files for Amman uses data from the Civil Airport (WMO # 402700,
31.983 N, 35.983 E) and the Queen Alia International AP (WMO #
402720, 31.717 N, 35.983 E), respectively.
The entire set of 3,012 IWEC2 weather files are available on a DVD
from ASHRAE (
www.techstreet.com/cgi-bin/detail?prod
uct_id=1823067) for $229.
Individual IWEC2 weather files are now also available from my
company (White Box Technologies) in various formats (BIN
M for DOE-2, EPW for EnergyPlus, etc.) for $35 per site.
