Hi all I’m doing a study that involves the reflectance of internal surfaces for some daylighting analysis. To have the required reflectance, I do change The values of both Solar Absorptance and visible absorbtance of the internal surfaces…. However such change will have an effect on the energy consumption of the tested room. I did not knew why both Solar Absorptance and visible absorbtance will affect the energy consumption while no change happened to the U factor of the surfaces. Is there is a way change the reflectance of internal surfaces without effecting the thermal properties of such surfaces … Thanks __._,_.___ Primary EnergyPlus support is found at: http://energyplus.helpserve.com or send a message to energyplus-support@xxxxxxxx The primary EnergyPlus web site is found at: http://www.energyplus.gov The group web site is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EnergyPlus_Support/ Attachments are currently allowed but be mindful that not everyone has a high speed connection.
