RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Re: a ghost weekly forcing (relaxation)?

Hi Nick

The air terminals with reheat only reheat to the heating setpoint, if they were to reheat all the way up to cooling setpoint it would require more operating energy.  So under conditions of low zone cooling load, reheat systems will run at the heating setpoint.  It looks like you are only scheduling 5% of the electric plug loads, so that might explain the relatively low load.

You can examine the expanded IDF file produced by HVAC templates yourself but it shouldn’t introduce any odd scheduling on the weekends.

A good way to debug schedules is to request output variable for Schedule Value and double check them by looking at them as time series results.

I realize I forgot to include an actual question...

Is there somewhere else that a schedule is being added to the simulation? Perhaps when the HVAC template is expanded?

Thanks, Nick
