RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Re: About ventilation (urgent!)

Ideal loads can do the ventilation within the model.

Another option is to use ZoneHVAC:OutdoorAirUnit to introduce preheated ventilation directly into a zone.

Hi Luis,

We want to have natural ventilation in the summer and combined with mechanical for the winter. But in order to exploit the effect of natural ventilation during summer and hybrid during winter, we need also to add HVAC ideal air loads. As i told you, we are able to model only the simplest option for natural ventilation because the time limits are tight and we we also want a very simple way for modeling hybrid ventilation.

So, what do you propose?

If it is more convenient for you to talk through skype, pls get online.

Cheers!

Hi Theodoros

If I understood it well, you have to model natural ventilation (several options) using room air models in E+ but you need also to account for additional heat for the heating season but without modelling HVAC. Is that correct?
