[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Many coils in one AHU

Export an idf with a dx unitary unit, one with an generic AHU, etc. Your main idf with AHU with water coils so the connections are there to the Plants. Then make sure when you're copying objects not to forget about the controller, setpoint managers, etc. which is the trickiest bit. Feel free to post sections of the code here when you run into problems. You must also set output variables to monitor the fluid states especially on the air nodes like exit nodes of coils for debugging.

There are a few places control side where you may run into undocumented issues (at least in v8, though with DB you're running v7.2 which I'm not sure exibits the same issues)

Make sure the water coil controller list is referenced in the HVACAirloop object, but that the Controller:OutdoorAir is not listed in the same ControllerList object (at least in v8 it requires a seperate list object).

Goodluck and keep us posted,

Jean
