Dear Group,
I have a radiant floor heated model that reports all spaces heating up (and overheating during unoccupied periods) in the coldest winter month although all heating is turned off.
Sensible Heat Gain Summary reports that by far the most heat gain is from "Opaque Surface Conduction and Other Heat Addition [GJ]", although the WWR is 50%.
Comparison over a year run period for a north facing room shows:
"Opaque Surface Conduction and Other Heat Addition [GJ]" = 8.432
"Opaque Surface Conduction and Other Heat Removeal [GJ]" = -0.000
"Window Heat Removal [GJ]" = -4.283
"Window Heat Addition [GJ]" = 1.795
"HVAC Input Heated Surface Heating [GJ]" = 2.688
What is going on here?
Jean
