RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] AirflowNetwork Distribution with Multi AirloopHVACs

This is the current limitation. We have a wish list and don't know when we
will implement to remove the limitation.

You may have two choices to make a workaround. The first choice is to
combine both Aieloops into one. The second choice is to use a choice without
distribution as MultizoneWithoutDistribution. The assumption is that no
supply and return leaks are applied.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] AirflowNetwork Distribution with Multi
AirloopHVACs

Hi all,

Is it possible to have the AirflowNetwork works with multi AirLoopHVACs?

I have a house model with 2 AirLoopHVACs. One is to do the heating/cooling
for the living zones (DX cooling and heating, constant volume fan). Another
one is to provide under slab void heating/cooling from the roof space air
(constant volume fan to draw air from the roof space to the under slab void
spaces). I also want to have windows open for natural ventilation (and free
cooling) so I setup the AirflowNetwork classes to control the openings.

Then when I ran the simulation I got an error message: "** Severe **
GetAirflowNetworkInput: More AirLoopHVACs are found. Currently only one
("1") AirLoopHVAC object per simulation is allowed when using AirflowNetwork
Distribution Systems"

I really can't have only one AirloopHVAC....... Anyone knows how to setup
AirflowNetwork with multi AirLoopHVAC?

Many thanks.

Best regards.
