RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] Auto-size and user values

Do your initial run and then copy the calculated size for each system objects rather than autosize.

For example:

ZoneHVAC:Baseboard:Convective:Electric,

     Main Zone Baseboard,

     System Availability Schedule,

     Autosize,   ß

     0.97;

ZoneHVAC:Baseboard:Convective:Electric,

     Main Zone Baseboard,

     System Availability Schedule,

     8000,   ß

     0.97;

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Auto-size and user values

Dear Group,

I was wondering how a user can simulate a system based on actual sizing parameters, avoiding the implementation of auto-sizing during a simulation. Particularly, as I read in documentation and try to apply, a HVAC system can not be simulated without auto-sizing.
However, for my case as I will need to make changes on the building envelope I need to run simulations without changing the parameters of the system for each individual simulation case (The system is auto-sized on the particular changes that I made on the building envelope).

So, does anybody know how can I avoid the auto-size part of the simulation and thus, run an actual system for my simulations.

Thank you in advance for any response to my message

George G.
