Using the HVACTemplates are helpful to set up a basic outline of the system. From there you can open the expanded idf and modify that for a more complex design.

Hi All,

I was wondering if somebody knows if there is some easier way to generate connections for HVAC systems. I know there is openstudio, but openstudio does not support all components, suppose I want to define an air loop with heat recovery system for example, is there a way to automatically generate the nodes using scripts or something like that?
