Hi,
just a quick question, does the sum of all these variables individually output match the system output at steady state conditions when the temperature set points are met?
I am on the same boat as you too on this issue, if we were to extract the same information for a purchased air simulation without including a HVAC system, then using zone HVAC doesn't make sense right? You got any ideas for that?
sorry I did not have any answers, but just more questions along the same lines!
thanks!
I'm trying to export hourly calculated zone loads from my single zone residential model. I don't see a single output:variable that provides this. I'm using the ZoneHVAC:LowTemperatureRadiant:VariableFlow object for heating and cooling delivery, so it isn't an air delivery system. From what I can gather, for this specific case to obtain the total zone load I need to output individually and sum all of the following. Am I missing something? Thanks for the help.
Zone Total Internal Total Heating Rate, !- Variable Name
Zone Total Internal Total Heating Energy, !- Variable Name
Zone Windows Total Heat Gain Energy, !- Variable Name
Zone Windows Total Heat Loss Energy, !- Variable Name
Zone Infiltration Total Heat Gain Energy, !- Variable Name
