[EnergyPlus_Support] External Interface

Dear Group,

I got the following problems in my co-simulation between energy plus and MLE+.

The simulation completed successfully but E+ is not using the values I send from MLE+ and rather it is using its own internal logic to get values for those variables.

Here are sample of the actuators I defined in my external interface:

  EMS_RP5, !- Name
FifthFloor:Fifth%floor Radiant Panel, !- Actuated Component Unique Name
Hydronic Low Temp Radiant, !- Actuated Component Type
Water Mass Flow Rate, !- Actuated Component Control Type
     0.3; !- Optional Initial Value

Tcoolingset, !- Name
MAIN_AIR COOLING COIL OUTLET, !- Actuated Component Unique Name
System Node Setpoint, !- Actuated Component Type
Temperature Setpoint, !- Actuated Component Control Type
     16; !- Optional Initial Value

I have checked from EMS-Application guide that those actuators are available and also checked edd file for their naming and seems every thing is ok and I don't know why E+ don't use the values I send from MLE+.

Regards
korbaga
