[EnergyPlus_Support] shade device

Hello!

When I am doing a single office simulation it works like it should, but when I extend the roof 4 m beyond it create a shade in some periods of the year so the temperature in the surface shaded should decrease against typical office in those periods, but it do not work like I suppose.

Does any clue what would be happened.
