Have you tried using the comand "matching surfaces" in Open Studio?
It should work, even though it may erase your definitions for construction type.

Good afternoon, everyone!
I'm modeling a four-story building in OpenStudio.
In the four levels, the zones do not match, that is, the first floor zones are not equal then the second and forth.
The EnergyPlus is returning 31 "warnings" like this below:
br /> GetSurfaceData ** Warning **: Interzone Surface Areas do not match as expected and might not satisfy conservation of energy:
~ ** ~ ~ ** Surface Area = 262.1 in = ZN101_LAJE, Zone = ZN101
~ ** ~ ~ ** Surface Area = 411.1 in = ZN201_PISO, Zone = ZN201
As zones are not symmetrical, there are walls where a face is in a zone, and on the other side, in two other zones. The same occurs with the ceilings and floors.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve these "warnings"?
