The University of Idaho Integrated Design Lab is happy to announce that we've posted a new, free EnergyPlus tool to our website and we'd love your feedback.
The tool is an OpenOffice, macro-enabled spreadsheet that will generate the required text objects for the various HVAC template systems available to EnergyPlus. The tool also allows batch input of multiple objects to help streamline the specification of large models with numerous zones. Give it a try! The page also includes an instructional YouTube video on how to use the tool.
